This will be a fun evening where we'll come together to enjoy food (BYO Wine/drinks) fun, and Learn to create your very own functional pottery piece using a centuries old, reliable method with a choice of clay options. Create a mug, planter, jug, vase, fairy house, tea candle holder, bowl, utensil holder etc. There are so many functional types of wares that can be made using this method that you’ll be well on your way with the tools to start creating at home if desired, with some useful advice given by Wendy for future clay playing at home. 

We understand that starting something new can be intimidating, but fear not! Our experienced instructor will guide you through each step of the process, providing example pieces for inspiration, and ensuring that you feel comfortable and confident throughout the class. Whether you are a complete beginner or already have some experience with pottery, this workshop is suitable for all skill levels.

As you dive into this creative activity, you may find yourself entering a state of calm and mindfulness. Pottery has a way of connecting us with the earth and allowing our creativity to flow freely. And the best part? We glaze and fire your beautiful piece for you to collect 4-6 weeks later to display, admire, and cherish, a tangible reminder of your newfound skills and artistic expression
